Getting started for agents
For: New agent accounts (travel agencies, tour operators, DMCs)
Welcome to Tourium. This article walks you through your first day as an agent on the platform — how you got here, how to finish setting up, and what to do first.
How you got here
Most agents arrive at Tourium by invitation. A supplier wants to share rates or a partnership agreement with you, so they sent your email address to the system, and the system emailed you a signup link (/agent-signup/{token}). The message usually says something like "a supplier wants to share rates with you".
Click the link to get started.
Creating your account
The signup page shows the email address you'll sign in as, and gives you two ways to create your account.
Option A — Sign in with Google, LinkedIn, Facebook or Microsoft
Click Continue with Google, Continue with LinkedIn, Continue with Facebook or Continue with Microsoft. Microsoft accepts work, school and personal Microsoft accounts. You'll be asked to authorise Tourium to see your name and email, and once you approve, your account is created and you're signed in.
Option B — Set a password
- Click Sign up with a password instead.
- Enter your First name and Last name.
- Choose a password and confirm it.
- Click Create my free account.
Either way, Tourium takes you into guided setup next (see below).
If the email on the invitation already has a Tourium account, the signup link signs you straight in instead of creating a duplicate — you keep your existing history.
Your free trial
New agent accounts start on a free 14-day trial of Agent Standard, so your whole team can use the paid plan straight away. A banner at the top of every page counts down the days, and Tourium emails you reminders before the trial ends. Nothing is charged unless you set up a subscription. See Billing and subscriptions.
Guided setup
Straight after you sign up, a step-by-step wizard helps you create your brand (the only required step), invite your team, and choose from the modules offered for your account — each chosen module then has a short setup step of its own. During your trial, modules you choose switch on straight away and are free until the trial ends. See Guided setup.
Your first day on Tourium
There's probably already work waiting for you. Here's the order to tackle it:
- Check your Dashboard. The welcome card shows how many rate shares, rate requests, and signing requests need your attention.
- Accept any pending rate shares. If a supplier has shared rates, they appear in Rates → Shared Rates. See Viewing shared rates — you have to accept each share before you can view the rates.
- Sign any pending agreements. Partnership agreements appear under Contracts. See Signing STO contracts.
- Do the platform tour. The guided walkthrough auto-runs on your first login, showing you each section of the sidebar. If you skipped it, restart from Settings → Profile. See Platform tour.
- Polish your brand. Go to your organisation name → Your Brand and make sure your agency name and contact details are correct, and add your logo and colours under Document Branding. Suppliers see this when deciding whether to work with you. See Brands.
What's next
Once you're set up, your day-to-day work on Tourium will happen in a few places:
- Rates → Shared Rates — rate sheets suppliers have sent you.
- Rates → Rate Requests — asking suppliers for specific pricing.
- Contracts — partnership agreements to review and sign.
- Specials Feed — time-limited promotions from your supplier network.
- Partner Documents — brochures, fact sheets, and other files.
- Touri Chat — the AI assistant, useful for finding rates and summarising contracts quickly.
Tips
- Your email is verified automatically on first login — no confirmation link to click.
- Add a second sign-in step — an authenticator app or a passkey — from Settings → Two-factor auth. See Two-factor authentication.
- If a rate share or contract didn't appear for you, double-check that you accepted the connection with the supplier first. See Network directory.
- The platform tour is quicker than you think (about 5 minutes) and saves you a lot of "where is that?" later.
